Following on from the launch event at Parliament House in Sydney, the Australian Refrigeration Association made our debut appearance at the Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS) exhibition in Melbourne on 7-9 May. Working from a poster stand just outside the entrance to the seminar rooms, President Tim Edwards was ably supported by most of the founding members during the three day event, and the ARA’s presence certainly made a significant impact.
All agreed the interest in ARA and the results achieved far exceeded expectations, and have more than justified the investment of time and effort. Many new founding and corporate members have been identified, and ARA was able to make our voice heard throughout much of the debate in the seminar program and in the corridors and the exhibition floor.
The feedback received certainly confirmed our view that an important niche exists to be filled in the industry association landscape, and we look forward to working with all the new colleagues and contacts established during the exhibition.
ARA is at stand #785 at the Australian Airconditioning Refrigeration & Building Services (ARBS) exhibition from 7-9 May to promote the benefits of becoming a member of the ARA and adding to a strong voice at the table that will plan the roadmap towards a more efficient and sustainable RAC industry.
